The Director, APAC HR Business Partners leads and strategically aligns our HR business partner function across global and regional operations. This individual plays a critical role in driving HR strategy, supporting business objectives, and enhancing organizational effectiveness. They lead a team of HR business partners who work closely with senior business and location leadership, managers and employees to deliver impactful HR solutions that support the growth and success of the business. This role may directly support one or more C-staff members. Key Responsibilities: HR Organization: Strategy, Leadership and Development
- Contribute to HR organizational strategy development and planning by bringing business context and priorities, insights and relevant data and analysis from the HRBP organization to the HR Leadership Team (HRLT).
- Consult and collaborate with the HRLT on innovative, proactive initiatives to enable success at the company, BU/G&A and/or region/site level and develop solutions to business challenges.
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness and success of the HR team. Work with HRLT to adopt a continuous improvement mindset for the HR organization. Bring best practices to the team, as well as areas for improvement and potential solutions. Strive to ensure the HR team has the right people with the right skills in the right roles to execute our vision.
Global and Regional HRBP Alignment
- Develop HRBP organization global and regional strategy, ensuring alignment with overall company and HR strategic goals.
- Cultivate strong relationships with BU and G&A leaders, local leadership teams and other key stakeholders to understand business goals and needs, identify challenges, and deliver solutions that enhance organizational performance, employee engagement and retention etc., directly or through BP teams.
- Develop and implement integrated HR strategies that address diverse needs of different regions/business units while maintaining consistency across global practices. Ensure scalability/adaptability across cultures/regulations.
HRBP Leadership
- Build mentor develop high-performing team of HR business partners.
- Lead teams implementing people strategies driving outcomes.
- Ensure successful execution of programs.
- Monitor/report key performance indicators offering insights/trends/opportunities/solutions supporting growth/decision-making/measuring effectiveness.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Drive talent management processes including workforce planning/succession planning/performance management/employee relations/labor laws/compliance/risk management/mergers & acquisitions/coaching/mentoring/collaboration/communication/workforce planning/succession planning/performance management/employee relations/labor laws/health & safety compliance.
- Foster inclusive culture promoting diversity/equity/inclusion.
- Lead change management initiatives supporting organizational transformation/growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally supporting leadership development/training programs.
- Manage budgets/resources effectively ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
- Represent company externally building partnerships/networking enhancing employer brand/reputation attracting top talent.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in senior-level human resources roles preferably within APAC region/global organizations.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws/regulations/compliance standards across multiple countries within APAC region.
- Demonstrated ability developing/executing effective people strategies aligning business objectives/driving organizational success.
- Excellent leadership/interpersonal/communication/collaboration/problem-solving skills.
- Ability manage multiple priorities/projects working effectively fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Experience leading/managing teams fostering high-performance culture/development/coaching/mentoring.
- Proficiency using HRIS systems/data analytics tools generating actionable insights informing decision-making/improving processes/outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management/Business Administration or related field; advanced degree preferred/certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP/SPHR) highly desirable.
Location & Work Arrangement:
Bengaluru, India - Hybrid work model allowing partial remote work balanced with onsite collaboration/team engagement.
Salary Range:
estimated $80k-$120k USD annually based on seniority/location/industry standards.
