Sr. Events Operations Specialist - Branded Events

United States Events / Full-time- Remote / Remote Articulate is seeking a Senior Events Operations Specialist, Branded Events to own the operational execution of the company’s Articulate-hosted, branded event portfolio, including customer conferences, executive programs, and virtual or hybrid experiences. This role serves as an operational lead for assigned branded event programs, with accountability for logistics planning, vendor and partner management, budget oversight, and onsite execution. As a senior individual contributor on a lean, high-performing Global Events team, this role operates with a high degree of autonomy and independent judgment. This role balances strategic oversight with hands-on execution, adapting level of involvement based on program complexity, timelines, and business needs. The ideal candidate is both strategic and execution-oriented, able to design scalable operational frameworks while also leading complex, high-visibility events from planning through post-event analysis. This position plays a critical role in ensuring Articulate’s branded events deliver consistent brand quality, operational excellence, and measurable business impact.

What You'll Do:

  • Operational Leadership
  • Lead the logistics workstream for assigned events, overseeing various phases of planning, production, and onsite execution.
  • Oversee and direct event logistics and timelines, workbacks, and cross-functional deliverables to ensure seamless execution and alignment with broader marketing goals.
  • Handle shipping and inventory management of event materials, maintaining processes that support scalability and accuracy.
  • Develop and manage vendor and production partner relationships, negotiating scopes, coordinating deliverables, and holding partners accountable to timelines and quality standards.
  • Serve as an on-site lead at select events, empowered with the ability to make real-time operational decisions related to scheduling, staffing, vendor execution, and attendee logistics to uphold quality and brand standards.
  • Oversee event budgets for assigned programs, tracking expenses, approving invoices within assigned limits, reconciling spend, and providing variance insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Operational Execution & Program Oversight
  • Coordinate event logistics including travel, lodging, catering, AV, and onsite materials, balancing strategic oversight with detailed execution.
  • Manage shipping and inventory processes for event materials, ensuring accuracy, efficiency,and scalability across multiple programs.
  • Oversee event registration workflows and attendee communications ensuring accuracy scalability,and a high-quality attendee experience while delegating or executing tasks as appropriate .
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing Ops Sales Customer Success Creative) to align on deliverables such as event branding digital assets collateral experiential elements .
  • Support event documentation data management maintaining key records like shipping manifests contracts attendee lists recommending enhancements improve accuracy reuse .
  • Collaborate post-event reporting analysis including survey execution stakeholder follow-up documentation insights inform continuous improvement .

  • Identify implement incremental process enhancements across logistics workflows vendor management data tracking increase efficiency consistency .
  • Partner Senior Manager Global Events evaluate opportunities larger process redesigns tool improvements .
  • Contribute development team templates checklists operational best practices scale team growth .

What You Should Have:

-5–8 years experience corporate event operations branded hosted events event marketing operations preferably high-growth global organization . -Demonstrated ability lead logistics strategy vendor management minimal oversight . -Strong organizational project management skills capable managing programs stakeholders simultaneously . -Excellent written verbal communication skills collaborative customer-focused approach . -Proven ability work independently exercise sound judgment pressure resolve complex operational challenges real time . -Financial acumen experience managing budgets reconciling expenses reporting spend . -Proficiency Google Workspace Slack Zoom experience event software (Cvent Bizzabo similar) preferred . -Ability travel up to 25% annually including international travel occasional multiple-stop back-to-back event weeks .

Articulate takes into consideration wide range factors utilized making compensation decisions including but not limited skill sets experience training licensure certifications qualifications education other business organizational needs .
